22 MARCH 2013 – Cor Blimey guv, something wicked this way cometh in the form of top-rated British beer flowing from the Guerilla Galleries pumps courtesy of those Buckinghamshire brewers XT.
In a first, or thirst, to forward its art-based revolutionary cause, the Shoreditch-based art gallery outfit, is partnering with an equally adventurous and innovative firm to deliver good stuff to the people by any means necessary. Art-loving punters will now be able to enjoy a sup or two of traditionally brewed beer while perusing the gallery walls. A gallery spokesman said: “We were drawn to the XT Brewery Thame not only because they are an exciting new brand with traditional values, but because they also dare to do things differently.
“If like our artists to be devilishly daring it’s good news all round to be hooking up with a brewery who do the same.”
Punters visiting the forthcoming Guerilla Galleries exhibition ART & PROTEST between 3 – 5 April at the Daniel Libeskind Space in Islington will be the first to benefit from the tie-up, but gallery staff are hoping it extends beyond that.
