Unfinished promo for Comic Book Art Exhibition15 JUNE 2013 – Despite being the man of the hour Superman isn’t invited to the Guerilla Galleries: Heroes Villains & Fantasy comic book art exhibition – although his third-cousin Leroy Kent might slip in.
Having popped into the Shoreditch TreeHouse today to use the loo I noticed that the art chimps were mocking-up how Randolph Hoyte‘s pencils might make the show poster look. I just couldn’t help but publish it and be damned. I love and can’t wait to see them finished.
I’ve also been told that despite it being a very good year for superheroes SupermanSpider-Man, the Batman and Iron-Man won’t feature! Is that bizarre or what???
Well not really.
I overheard the fat bloke talking and he said: “There’s a world of ‘other’ really cool original characters out there created by really talented artists and writers that need to have their day in the sun.”
So, could this be their moment? Could this show actually be an opportunity for me to showcase Flash Pothead the Rastafarian Asterix I created during Miss Harrison’s English lessons? I hope so. Nuff said!
