09 June 2015 – Guerilla Galleries is taking its unique brand of irreverent art to Saint Austell on the Cornish Riveria for the first in a series of art expositions entitled DARK ROOMS (21 – 24 August 2015) . We will be using the darkness and the proximity of confined spaces to create a fully immersive show where the work.

Artists are invited to create or submit work of a singular societal nature that they feel works better in the dark. This is work that is independently strong, can stand alone within a darkened space, and with or without explanation invoke meaning. We are accepting 2D (paintings, illustrations, mixed-media or photography), 3D sculptures, artefacts, performances pieces, interactive installation, film or sound and such-like.

Are you creating specifically for the show? Contact us now via e-mail. You may however already have work that fits this rather challenging theme, with the art and artefacts being representative of the period in which we currently live.

In taking our art on the road we will be engaging with fresh audiences, so this presents a great opportunity to put your best foot forward by way of introduction.

Submissions via e-mail or inbox via Facebook please, with supporting images as a JPeg or Giff. All successful applicants will be advised on or before the 07 August 2015 closing date.
